A Montana court has charged 41-year-old Scott McFarlane with 15 counts of child sexual abuse and two counts of drug possession. Child pornography, drugs, firearms and bomb components were found in his home, the Daily Inter Lake reported. The detainee faces up to 100 years in prison and a fine of around $50,000.
According to the publication, McFarlane lived in Columbia Falls in the Flathead Valley and worked as a clinical social worker and psychotherapist. He specializes in working with survivors of sexualized violence, patients with PTSD, and children under 6 years of age. RTVI was able to find mentions of it on specialized websites.
McFarlane's card was also found on the Flathead County Sheriff's Office website. It follows that he was given bail in the amount of $1 million and a hearing date of October 1. Moreover, it says that the defendant is not 41 years old, but 40 years old.

During a search of McFarlane's house, about 3 thousand videos allegedly containing scenes of child sex abuse were found on his computer. The materials, as Flathead Beacon clarifies, depict sexualized violence against girls under puberty, including content involving an animal. The electronic device was sent for forensic examination.
Instructions for making improvised explosive devices were also found on the computer, and components were found in McFarlane's garage.
The house also contained numerous firearms and ammunition, placed in different parts of the house, presumably for ease of retrieval. The weapons included, inter alia, a pistol, silencers and several knives.
Authorities also seized two bags: one containing ecstasy and the other containing ketamine. Several strips of paper are used as evidence in the case.
