Massachusetts prosecutors have accused American blogger Clavicular (real name Braden Peters) of raping a minor. As the New York Post (NYP) notes, the victim, whose name is not indicated in official documents, is his colleague in the looksmaxxing trend Alorah Ziva (real name Alexandra Vasilievna Mendoza), who previously filed a lawsuit against Peters with similar accusations.
20-year-old Florida resident Peters is considered the main star of Luxmaxing in the United States – a trend on social networks to improve one's appearance as much as possible. The blogger demonstrated in his videos methods that doctors warned about the dangers: he hit the face with a hammer in the hope of growing facial bones, and also admitted that he uses various substances partially banned in the United States to maintain an athletic physique.
As the Associated Press (AP) notes, citing the criminal case, Mendoza told police that Peters met her through Instagram in 2025 and invited her to participate in one of his videos for money.
In the broadcast, which was broadcast live from his parents' home in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, the blogger told subscribers that Mendoza was 18 years old, although she was 17 at the time. He also emphasized that he was pouring her water, but, according to the girl, she was served vodka – and “in glasses rather than shot glasses.”
The public footage also showed Peters and Mendoza kissing, and at the end of the broadcast, the blogger took the girl to the bedroom and had sex with her. She woke up the next morning during another rape, according to court papers. Mendoza emphasizes that she was “extremely drunk” and did not consent to sexual intercourse.
In Massachusetts, the age of sexual consent is set at 16 years old, but local prosecutors regarded the incident as rape. Peters also faces charges of drugging a person for the purpose of sexual intercourse and providing alcohol to a person under 21.
In the suit, Mendoza also alleged that Peters gave her a facial injection of an unapproved fat-dissolving substance against her will. This was also done during the live broadcast – the girl did not deny that she herself had agreed on another collaboration with Peters, but came with friends.
Mendoza's lawyers confirmed to NYP and NBC News that the Massachusetts charges are related to the girl's testimony, but declined to comment further.
Representatives for Peters also did not officially comment on the situation, but the blogger, in a number of publications on X (formerly Twitter), accused Mendoza of trying to attract his attention and “take his money.” In response to media reports about the criminal case, he published two videos – a fragment of their general broadcast in which Mendoza says that she is 18 years old, as well as a video of her where she speaks positively about the injections he gave. Neither statement contradicts the essence of the criminal charges.

As the AP notes, Peters is not yet in custody. An arraignment hearing in the criminal case is scheduled for October 14.
