The U.S. Secret Service is reviewing a video on Iran's state television channel IRIB called “Where to Kill Barron Trump?” for threats, agency spokesman Nate Herrin told The National News Desk. The video talks about a $10 million reward for the murder of US President Donald Trump's youngest son, and also provides details of his life – in particular, information about the places he allegedly visits and several peers from his inner circle.
“The US Secret Service is aware of this video and is investigating anything that may be perceived as a threat to persons in our custody. To ensure operational security, we do not discuss issues related to threat intelligence,” Herrin said.
At the beginning of the three-minute video, it is said that the information used in its preparation was obtained from a girl who met Barron on the 58th floor of Trump Tower in New York. Previously, the media reported that for the sake of one romantic meeting of Barron in the tower, an entire floor had to be blocked off.
The authors of the video claim that Barron daily visits the Constance Milstein & Family Global Academic Center at 1307 L St NW in Washington. It is also stated that he is never left without security at the educational institution – Secret Service agents pose as students and are constantly near him, even during classes. According to the authors, access to student housing is “the first step in establishing closer contact with Barron.”
In addition, the video indicates that Barron leads a reclusive lifestyle and does not give his phone number to friends, preferring to communicate through accounts on Xbox, FIFA and Discord. The creators of the video call his two supposed friends by name. One of them, as noted, organizes events and parties that Barron attends.
In conclusion, it talks about a “$10 million reward” that “millions of anti-Trump FIFA players” are ready to receive.
Previously, a similar video about first lady Melania Trump was published by the Iranian agency Tasnim. It calls on “freedom fighters around the world” to carry out an assassination attempt on Melania Trump, and also lists clothing stores in New York that the authors of the video call “suitable for carrying out the operation.” RTVI spoke about this in detail.
