Portuguese football player Cristiano Ronaldo signed a prenuptial agreement with her before marrying his beloved Georgina Rodriguez. As HITC reports, citing Portuguese media that have reviewed the documents, the newlyweds agreed to keep the property acquired before marriage separate.
The agreement between Ronaldo and Rodriguez was signed on August 10, on the eve of the ceremony. It was certified by a notary in the Portuguese capital Lisbon, journalists say. Ronaldo, 41, is a billionaire according to Forbes magazine and the highest-paid athlete in the world with a salary of $200 million a year at Saudi Arabian club Al-Nasr.
The wedding ceremony took place on August 11 at Ronaldo's estate in the resort town of Cascais near Lisbon. It was attended by the couple’s children (they have three children together and Ronaldo’s two) and four witnesses.
According to media reports, Ronaldo invited his best friend, ex-football player Miguel Paixao, and Georgina invited her sister Ivana. The couple also invited Spanish jeweler Jose Rodriguez Sanguil and his wife Monica Gonzalez Martinez to a private event. By the way, Ronaldo and his wife announced their marriage on Instagram through photographs of their rings.
It is unknown why Ronaldo's mother, 71-year-old Maria Dolores Aveiro, who had previously accompanied him to many events, was not at the wedding. The footballer's mother previously denied being on bad terms with Rodriguez and publicly blessed their union when they announced their engagement in 2025.
