American singer Lady Gaga became a mother for the first time at the age of 40, reports Page Six. According to the publication, the father of the child is the performer's fiancé, entrepreneur Michael Polanski. The couple and their baby were captured in a photo in Northern California.
Representatives for the singer did not respond to Page Six's request for comment. Official information about the gender, name and date of birth of the child was not disclosed. As the publication notes, the resulting photos provide the first glimpse of the “new life” of the famously secretive singer and her 42-year-old fiancé. In the images, Gaga holds the baby in her arms, clutching it to her chest, while walking with Polanski.
“She hasn't had a private life since she was 22. She laid low after the tour ended and they [с Полански] Now they live in a stunning cocoon of love,” said the publication’s unnamed source.
Information about Lady Gaga's first child (real name Stefani Germanotta) was also confirmed by an unnamed source to People. The publication was similarly unable to obtain an official comment. American media are joking that “Mother of Monsters,” as Gaga is nicknamed by her fans, is now a real mother.

The singer of the hits Bad Romance, Abracadabra and Shallow more than once laughed off rumors of pregnancy on social networks, but did not hide her desire to become a mother. In 2019, she confirmed that she was “pregnant with a new album,” and in 2024 she directly wrote several times that she was “not pregnant,” accompanying the phrase with humorous references to the Taylor Swift song Down Bad, as well as a link to registering to vote in the US presidential election.
Lady Gaga has been dating Polanski since 2019. They met at a birthday party for Facebook co-founder Sean Parker. The singer's fiancé and likely father of her first child is a Harvard University graduate, investor and producer – he participated in the work on Lady Gaga's latest album, Mayhem, and The Mayhem Ball tour in support of it. The tour ended in April of this year.
In 2024, People became aware of the couple's secret engagement. According to sources, Polanski proposed to the singer shortly before her 38th birthday, but she did not wear the ring to the celebration so that it would not end up in media photographs. The singer soon confirmed her engagement, but her marriage to Polanski has not yet been reported.
