The recent appearance of US President Donald Trump in front of cameras has become a source of controversy on the Internet. Users are discussing what happened to the hair color of the head of the White House – the golden blonde in the photographs was replaced by an almost chestnut shade.
Photos of Trump's new hairstyle were taken on Friday, September 4, upon his arrival at the airport in New Jersey near his golf club in Bedminster. The US President went there for the weekend.
Images from various media outlets show Trump exiting the plane, saluting military personnel who greeted him, and giving reporters a thumbs-up. The color of the hair on his head is noticeably different from the one he appeared with reporters earlier in the day at the White House.
It is still unclear whether the 80-year-old American leader went to the hairdresser directly on the plane or whether it was due to the lighting at the airfield in New Jersey. Trump appeared on the golf course already wearing a cap.
Social media users, however, began to evaluate the new image of the US President. Some insist that he is changing his wigs (which Trump himself has repeatedly denied), and some joke that he updated his hair specifically for the fall.
“I decided to go dark for the fall, what a diva!” joked one user X (formerly Twitter).
“I like it – he looks youthful, just like Pierce Brosnan,” the writer Anne Lamott, known for criticizing the Republican’s policies, also sarcastically said.
I love it. So youthful. Very Pierce Brosnan. https://t.co/UDukjWxSbp

Author and blogger Hemant Mehta, in turn, made a topical barb about the work of presidential assistant Natalie Harp.
“Natalie seems to have a wide range of responsibilities,” Meta noted, probably meaning that she also took up hairdressing.
Trump's hairstyle sparked similar controversy following his speech in Las Vegas, Nevada, on August 5. Then the surprise of social network users was caused not so much by the color as by the unusual volume of the head of the White House’s hair. The next day he was seen in Washington with a more familiar hairstyle.
When Trump took the stage in Las Vegas on Wednesday with hair that appeared brighter than it had a day before and with more volume, it sparked memes, lighting theories and a fresh round of scrutiny of the president's famous mane. 🔗: https://t.co/EVlOZz0dwp pic.twitter.com/yCOAakoVkw
