Russian UFC fighter Islam Makhachev will try to defend his organization's welterweight title on Saturday, August 15, in a duel with Irishman Ian Machado Harry. RTVI collected information about the fight.
The fight will take place as part of the UFC 330 tournament at the Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Prelims start time is 7:00 pm Eastern Time (ET). Main card (main fights) – at 9:00 pm.
The start time of the main fight Makhachev – Garry depends on the duration of the previous fights – approximately it starts closer to midnight.

American bookmakers see 34-year-old Makhachev as the favorite of the fight (-320 or victory with a probability of 76.2%). If successful, the Russian fighter will not only retain the belt, but will also extend his winning streak to 17 fights, breaking Anderson Silva’s record in the UFC.
28-year-old Harry is confident that a victory over Makhachev, who is considered a follower of Khabib Nurmagomedov, would allow him to declare himself as the greatest representative of mixed martial arts in history.
“I believe that this will be the most difficult fight in history for a UFC title contender,” Garry predicted about himself in a commentary to SunSport.
The fighters' press conference before the fight did not involve a brawl. On the contrary, when Makhachev answered a question about how his late coach Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov would rate his success, Harry decided to interrupt his opponent to express his admiration.
“Can I tell you? He [Нурмагомедов] I would be proud of him, look what he did for the sport,” the Irishman noted.
“Bro, you are losing fans every second, please shut up,” Makhachev replied in English, smiling slightly.
